Bug Fix

🎯 Improved Puzzle Quality

  • Fixed issue where puzzles could generate with tight clusters of squares
  • Increased minimum distance requirement between START and END (6 squares, up from 4)
  • Added validation to ensure paths spread across more of the grid
  • Puzzles now require better spatial reasoning and are more visually interesting

Technical Details:

  • Paths must now cover at least 5 rows/columns combined to prevent bunching
  • Uses same December 21 cutoff as v5.1 – older puzzles unchanged

Better Feedback

  • Colored feedback now shows for 3 seconds (up from 1.5s)
  • More time to see which squares were right or wrong

Progress Saving

  • Game now saves your progress automatically
  • Refresh the page mid-game without losing your attempts

Clearer Puzzles (Starting Dec 21)

  • New puzzles will have only one valid 7th move
  • Makes solutions less ambiguous
  • Old puzzles stay the same to avoid confusion
